TriCare™ performance is delivered by focusing on four areas of its pen needle design:
- Triple sharpened bevelled edged needle tip designed to reduce penetration force.
- Needle body and tip are electro-polished to remove small blemishes and rough spots to support a smooth penetration.
- Silicone lubricant for smooth gliding and less friction.
- Thin wall technology allows the drug to flow more freely and requires less injection force.
TriCare is available in four needle lengths – 4mm, 5mm, 6mm and 8mm and is compatible with most major brands of injection pens, including Novo Nordisk, Sanofi, Eli Lily and Owen Mumford.
